Het Rotterdamse kunstenaarsduo BABEurs/044 bouwt sonische ruimtes met lage drone frequenties, ambient en subtiele noise interventies. Hun soundscapes variëren van warme harmonieën en moederlijke stemmen tot wanhopige uithalen en krakende geluiden van roestige schepen. De experimentele elektronica van het duo wordt gedragen door een uniek, zelfgebouwd instrument en voortgestuwd door een pijnlijke, reptielachtige eenzaamheid.

BABEurs/044 is a Rotterdam-based artist duo structuring their sonic space with low drone frequencies, ambient and subtle noise interventions. Their soundscapes vary from warm harmonics and maternal voices to wailing cries and creaking sounds of rusty ships. The experimental electronics of the duo is centered on a unique self-built instrument and powered by the intake of painful, reptilian loneliness.
